I have recently had the pleasure of making two gorgeous platinum wedding rings for a lovely customer, Mary. I loved working with her to help develop contemporary, unique pieces, filled with narrative.
I crafted one of the rings from a cast of a twig Mary picked from a plant growing in her garden; the twig was from a plant that reflected a deeply meaningful memory close to Mary's heart.
The other ring I made aimed to interpret and amalgamate all of Mary's favourite ring design elements into a piece highly contemporary and organic in style.
The two unique rings were designed to compliment and sit flush next to Mary's traditional three stone engagement ring; a vintage family heirloom. I think the mix of old and new worked really well; she now has a lovely stack of rings to wear!
I would like to wish Mary and her husband (and her new rings!) a lifetime of happiness...
